Daddy Day

Yesterday was a Daddy Day! Since I was gone all day at a class, Lilly spent the day with her Daddy. Daddy Days are always special days, it usually includes some form of yardwork and pure fun playing outside and in the dirt. I am so grateful for the Daddy that Lilly has, he is a loving, relaxed and sweet man and he loves his girl.


Upon arriving home I witnessed Lilly dirtier than ever before, this even beat camping. Apparently she decided to give herself and Lulu a dirt bath with the dirt from the flowerbed. Jamey tried using the hose to clean her up but she didn't like that idea very much, so it was off to the garage to take a bath in the sink. I think we still went to church today with a little residual dirt in the hair, but oh well.


I'm glad that Lilly and her Daddy get to spend special time together and love being with each other. It's also nice to know that I'm not the only one who is exhausted after a day with our little Lil.
