It is really nice when God gives you some of these moments to off-set some of the challenges of parenting and I am very grateful to Him this week for the precious moments that I have had with Lilly. Here's a few other ones that we did catch on camera.
We had a dinner on Friday night for our friends the Nord's who work with Campus Crusade for Christ. Some of our friends and their kids came to hear about the Nord's ministry. It was so fun to watch all of the kids play together and enjoy one another, laughing and even screaming like little happy kids should do. Here they are swinging...

And enjoying watermelon...

A few months ago Lilly and I went to feed the ducks, but as you might recall she enjoyed chasing them more than feeding them. Well she still likes to chase them and tell them "No!" but she enjoyed feeding them a little bit more this time.

We also had a lot of fun making cookies to give Joy at Lilly's daycare for her birthday. I have very good memories of baking and cooking with my mom. I hope that Lilly will have special memories too; eating off of the spatula and playing with the measuring cups. If her smile is any indication I think we are on the right track.

I love the title - and the sentiments at the beginning - don't you just wish you could savor every moment? Well you probably have some you wish you could forget - we definitely have those :) - but I just cherish all those sweet little things they do!!! Thanks for having us over :) We had fun!
